24 hours of eating – being casual and really local in Istanbul

Chic food is easy, but rice and tea after midnight on the Galata Bridge, together with hundreds of fishermen, is a uniquely local experience that cannot be replaced by any five-star restaurant menu. After letting the clients enjoy their rice with chicken or beans, the manually driven wheel-restaurants change their place and people wait for the moving tea house to come next.
