Dress for the Weather have developed a tour of Glasgow that explores the strong cultural identity and the cities artistic development through its architecture. Starting from the cities origin at the River Clyde we will explore Glasgow’s historic buildings and institutions and how they have become cultural hubs. Glasgow has many spaces of cultural significance from its museums and galleries through to its public houses. The city has long been the engine room of Scotland. But where historic industries have declined there have been organic developments focused around art, music and other cultural activities.

To truly understand the city this tour takes in a cross-section of these Glasgow institutions. This is the best way to experience the people, personality and vibrancy of the city.

We have a full day tour itinerary ready to book for Glasgow but are happy to discuss how we can sculpt the tour to fit with specific schedules. We would also suggest taking in some of the lesser-known places in order to get a fuller picture of the city.
