Between forest and vines, a wine bar in Stuttgart

A tradition in Stuttgart are the so-called “Besenwirtschaften” establishments, in which only natural, unfiltered wines and local food specialties are served. Insider tip: ckeck the hidden “Bei d`r Elsbeth” in Epplestraße 54, in the Stuttgart district of Degerloch. Usually, it is open only seasonally, from January to March and September to November, always from Monday to Saturday. Tightly seated at the table, with a dry “Viertele” wine and delicious lentils with noodles in front, you’ll get to truly know the wine town and its inhabitants!
