The Japanese House since 1945 – to see in Rome
The latest exhibition at Zaha Hadid’s Maxxi Museum, in Rome, rotates around residential Japanese architecture. Fourteen different themes show works by masters such as Kenzo Tange, Toyo Ito, Kazuyo Sejima and Shigeru Ban, as well as young Japanese professionals. Open until February 24, 2017, with contributions from Tokyo’s National Museum of Modern Art, London’s Barbican Centre and the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
