Markthalle Neun market – from the 19th century to the 21st

Markthalle Neun, a market built in the 19th century, was to be torn down. It was supposed to be loaded with investor’s architecture, including underground parking, but impressive protests were convincing. Today it is a renovated and modern building listed for preservation, with street markets, the “Kantine Neun” and the “Stadt Land Food Festival”.
