Architecture tour through the vibrant city center of Cologne: New developments in urbanism with the eyes of local experts!
There is much Cologne’s city center can be accused of, but you really cannot reproach it for being museum-like – despite the proud history as the Roman capital of the region and the most important trade and pilgrim center of the Middle Ages north of the Alps.
After the destruction in the Second World War, the city was rebuilt on the old ground plan. A variety of different concepts can be seen to “marry” the historical heritage with contemporary architecture.
How does it feel like to live in a city that had to reinvent itself from scratch? This and many other questions will accompany us on our way through the city with you.
