German photographer Michael Wesely is currently realizing a long-term art project at Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona Pavilion. Over the course of a year, a single picture is taken by a permanently installed camera. In doing so, Wesely does not seek to capture fleeting moments, but continuity: a multitude of moving moments will be layered and condensed into one single photograph.
