The architects will guide this tour, focusing on the transformation of a former industrial structure and highlighting how innovative use of materials and locally sourced, bio-based construction methods shaped the design. Created through a collaboration between Assemble, BC architects & studies, and Atelier LUMA, Lot 8 embodies a holistic approach that connects design, research, and fabrication. The visit forms part of LUMA’s Environmental History program, an initiative that gathers historians, scientists, artists, architects, and designers to explore ecological questions through a historical lens.
